My Work

I am a CDROM developer specializing in technical documentation and proceedings. I do a lot of work for the Advisory Board of SIGDA, the ACM technical society for Design Automation professionals. I am the developer of the SIGDA Publications on CDROM series. These CDROMs consist of the complete proceedings of various CAD Conferences, accessible using Adobe (TM) Acrobat (TM) (for IBM compatible PCs and Apple Macintosh (R) computers). For workstations running Unix, the material is available through HTML browsers (for example, Netscape) and PostScript (TM).

Background

I have a B.S. in Psychology from Baylor University, Waco, Texas, and an M.S. in Psychology from Rutgers. I have a J.D. from the University of New Mexico Law School and am an inactive member of the bar in Texas and California. I no longer practice law, although I maintain an interest in intellectual property issues as they relate to high technology industries.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband Bryan, (preas@parc.xerox.com). He is a Principal Scientist at Xerox PARC.

I love traveling, listening to music, flowers, and reading. Bryan and I lived in Germany for a little over a year and I would love to live in Europe again (especially Scotland, perhaps my favorite country, so far). In our spare time we are restoring our old house (built 1903). Only one room to go...
