  The Java<->JavaScript Connection
  ================================
  by Danny Goodman

  Just when the confusion between Java and JavaScript has begun to
  settle within the Web community, the two languages suddenly find
  themselves more closely linked via Netscape's LiveConnect and Sun's
  JavaBeans efforts. Noted scripting expert and JavaScript book
  author, Danny Goodman, will discuss issues affecting Java developers
  as scripters begin looking for hooks into your Java applets with
  Netscape Navigator 3.0. He will share many of the lessons learned
  from the Macintosh scripting world, which grants scripters access to
  Mac applications.

  Biography:

  Danny Goodman is the author of "Danny Goodman's JavaScript Handbook"
  and 23 other computer books. He is perhaps best known for "The
  Complete HyperCard Handbook," which has sold over 500,000 copies
  worldwide. In addition to his many book and writing awards, he also
  earned three Software Publisher's Association (SPA) awards for
  commercial software products. Danny is also currently active in
  training and consulting for JavaScript, AppleScript, and other
  scripting environments. He can be reached via his Web site:
